We shall see, I suppose. It's been a LONG time. And it's a mess. All that said, I WANT to read this.

So do I. Though the article is, of course, inaccurate: Marvelman was not Britain's first superhero. That was The Amazing Mr. X, who debuted in 1944.

The chap looks sort of like Clark Kent when he isn't in costume.

Color me not surprised. CBR is very sloppy in their facts. and doesn't seem to care.

They used to be better than they are now, a few years back. Some attempt seemed to be made to verify facts and there appeared to be genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter in their articles. Now, they're like a formerly serious newspaper that's become tabloid trash. Sad.

Let's see if this happens... Empty Cbr.cc website

Post by Barry_Allen Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:50 am

I know that Cbr founder Jonah Weiland sold the website in 2016 then took three sabbatical years Question and last year was hired by Dc Comics in the role of Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services, reporting directly to Hank Kanalz, Senior VP of Publishing Strategy and Support Services and formerly writer of Rob Liefeld's Youngblood first series dialogues... Exclamation so maybe that could explain something... Laughing
