Wizard Bites the Dust
The long running comics listing magazine has ceased publication with no notice. Has the internet made magazines like Wizard redundant?

The internet is making EVERYTHING redundant. Even people. Have you read the short story "Who Can Replace a Man?"? by Brian Aldiss - well worth reading.
Re: Wizard Bites the Dust
This is sadly very true, I think.

Re: Wizard Bites the Dust
Has anybody seen the new Mike Conroy venture, Multiverse magazine?
I got issues # 0 and 1 at Ace Comics, as I do with all my things Uk and Usa, and I have to say was a nice, well designed (by Barry Reinshaw) magazine, but got no news of issue # 2.
I was also one of the last Comics International subscribers and thought it would have been nice for Mike to send us copies of Multiverse but they even didn't answer my mails...

Sadly, given Mike's previous track record, this doesn't surprise me in the slightest. It always seems to be a case of starting with good intentions and then nothing...Barry_Allen wrote:Has anybody seen the new Mike Conroy venture, Multiverse magazine?
