Thrud collected at Last!

Post by BluesShark on Thu Jun 13, 2013 9:57 am

Great news for those of us who have fond memories of Carl Critchlow's pin-headed, axe wielding barbarian with probably more affection than we should - Titan Books have announced a 128 page hardback collection of Thrud the Barbarian.

Personally I can't wait to get my hands on this - who can resist a story that has a necromancer called To-Me Ko-Pa?

For those unfamiliar with Thrud (ie most of our readers across the Pond, I suspect), here's his Wiki page;

Ooh, good news! I still have a couple of issues of Thrud somewhere, but I haven't seen them in years (probably misfiled).

I came across my complete set (Razz) the other day, oddly, whilst looking through the boxes.

Pity this doesn't seem to include the White Dwarf material but you can't have everything.

If I had realised when I was a kid how much vintage Action Man stuff, Remco Warlord figures and Kenner Star Wars spaceships would be worth thirty years later, my current circumstances would be very different.
