OK, impressed and creeped out. Capaldi seems to have rediscovered the Doctor's sense of fun, the black eyed things were terrifying, and I was absurdly pleased when I realised the mole like alien was another of the continually invaded race from The God Complex. but...we have to wait a week for the conclusion!!

Yeah, I wasn't watching the time closely enough and was a but upset at this. But, in a good way. That was a really fun episode. I look forward to next week.

Amazingly, this episode actually seems to have pleased pretty much everyone-even the reviewers who are normally unrelentingly negative seem to have liked it. Lots of comments on the net about how it's like "traditional" Doctor Who, whatever that is...
