Rich Buckler RIP

Post by tony ingram on Sun May 21, 2017 5:56 pm

Bronze Age artist Rich Buckler has passed away aged 68, of cancer. Loved his work on Deathlok, All-Star Squadron and Fantastic Four.

A very underrated one too, in my opinion.

Absolutely. One of those who always produced great work, but never really well known. His run on All Star Squadron was perfect.

That, along with Infinity Inc, Captain Britain and one or two others, is one of those series' I reread ith some regularity, and Buckler's work was definitely a big part of what made it great. His work on Deathlok in Astonishing Tales was amazing, too.

I think when someone dies like this, there ought to be a special trade put out of their work with the proceeds going to their families.

Now that I agree with!

And not just because I'd love some of those trades...
