Happy Birthday Matt Smith!

The madman with a box is 38 today...ten years after becoming the youngest actor ever to play the Doctor! Have to say, I never thought he'd work in the part when te casting was announced, but he pulled it off magnificently.

I wasn't sure, either. After my favorite Dr. left, it was Smith. I really only watched it at first because my niece was watching it. But he did SUCH a good job.

He was surprisingly good at seeming outwardly young but inwardly ancient.
