With issue #18, the feature began to be called "Radio Squad". It grew in length from two pages to six pages starting with More Fun Comics #33, and the feature continued its run to its last appearance in More Fun Comics #87 (cover-dated January 1943).

(Siegel and Shuster had both left the feature long before then.)

With cover date July 1936 is it possible that this comic book was on US newstands in April 1936? That would be about the days when my father was born!

According to both the GCD and Mike's Amazing World of Comics, an on-sale date of "1936-05-24" is listed.
