Jackie Lane R.I.P

Jackie Lane, who played Dodo Chaplet, a companion of the first Doctor, has died aged 79. Jackie's acting career stalled after Doctor Who and she became an actors agent, generally staying out of the public eye. Innes Lloyd, the producer who sacked her, later came to her looking for representation. She told him to go away. Sadly, she seems to have been almost forgotten. Personally, I rather liked her.

And today, we lost Tony Selby, who played galactic scoundrel Sabalom Glitz in the eighties. Not a good week for classic Who.
