Stargirl's Back!
So, season two is now here, and off to a strong start. Who else is watching it?

Well, I haven't really watched any of the DC-related TV shows or movies for a loooooooong time. (Same with the Marvel stuff.)tony ingram wrote:So, season two is now here, and off to a strong start. Who else is watching it?
One benefit to that is I don't have to worry too much about what liberties they may have taken from the source-material, unless, of course, they cause the comic book stories to change to match the TV shows / movies.

Stargirl is very close to the source material. As close as it can be. It's possibly the best superhero show I've ever seen, the only one that comes close is Doom Patrol. And the characters are pretty much perfectly cast.

Re: Stargirl's Back!
This week's episode saw the first actual confrontation between Courtney, the new JSA, and Eclipso, and it was actually pretty grim. This season is much darker in tone than the first one, at times. And remembering what happened in the comics, I'm actually worried Beth Chapel and Yolanda Montez may not make it through to the end...

In Italy, in a free channel, Season One has just started, so we'll have to wait a while for the episodes of Season two...

So, how are you liking season one? Assuming that you are, of course...Barry_Allen wrote:tony ingram wrote:So, season two is now here, and off to a strong start. Who else is watching it?

Yes, I like the premises, well managed by Geoff Johns, I suppose, but only two episodes have been broadcasted here so far, I look forward to the next, so..
Re: Stargirl's Back!
Well, we'd been aware it was coming for a while, but with this week's episode we finally have one of the original JSA back, in the present day! I just hope they won't succumb to the temptation to kill Doctor Mid-Nite off again before the season ends ...
