Doctor Who: Flux
Well, the first episode has been and gone and it was definitely better than the previous two seasons put together. An intriguing new threat, the Weeping Angels, Sontarans thst actually look like the classic series version, and a bipedal Yorkshire terrier in a spacesuit. Good stuff. Still not entirely sold on Jodie Whittaker's thirteenth Doctor, but you can't have everything...

Here it was aired on one of Sky (not free) channels, so I'll have to wait 'til it goes on usual DW italian homeRai 4 channel!

I take it that isn't where past seasons have aired?Barry_Allen wrote:Here it was aired on one of Sky (not free) channels, so I'll have to wait 'til it goes on usual DW italian homeRai 4 channel!

Yes, DW episodes were usually aired free on Rai 4 after some months, but if you want to watch it "just in time" with the original Uk release you have to get yourself a Sky "bouquet" subscription.
Re: Doctor Who: Flux
I don't think anything would make me inclined to do that.

I would probably be allergic to their "bouquet".Barry_Allen wrote:Yes, DW episodes were usually aired free on Rai 4 after some months, but if you want to watch it "just in time" with the original Uk release you have to get yourself a Sky "bouquet" subscription.

I have enjoyed her Doctor. She's fun. The first season, as with Capaldi, was bland to me, but last season was better. I'm hoping this season (her last) is better.

So far, three episodes in, it's a massive improvement!Mbast1 wrote:tony ingram wrote:Still not entirely sold on Jodie Whittaker's thirteenth Doctor, but you can't have everything...

I'm enjoying it. It's all over the place and very fast paced, but that's at least part of the fun so far.
