Tom Palmer RIP
Veteran inker Tom Palmer, whose work contributed enormously to the success of people like Neal Adams (on Avengers, X-Men and Inhumans), John Buscema (on Avengers) and Gene Colan (on every issue of Tomb of Dracula) sadly passed away on August 18th. He was 81.

Re: Tom Palmer RIP
Sources differ as to whether Palmer was born in 1941 or 1942, but there's no doubting he was one of the finest inkers of all time, and also an excellent painter and colourist. In addition to the runs you mentioned, I also loved his inking of Colan on Doctor Strange and Daredevil and Ross Andru on Doc Savage. He didn't ink Tomb of Dracula #1, 2 or #8-11, though.
Here's the original art for the cover to Avengers #273, a self-portrait of Tom as the Black Knight.
