Sorting out publisher mess: Marx
I am trying to figure out what the connection is between several publishers used by Denis Gifford in his "The Complete Catalogue of British Comics Including Price Guide" (1985).
They are variously called "PM", "P.M.", "Philmar", "Phil Mar". They all have "(Marx)" following them. Marx appears without any other name as well.
Anyone know how to read this?

I've tried hunting through various reference books and I have absolutely no idea what these initials mean Ramon, sorry.

Too bad, you guys were kind of my last hope!
I'll set up the indexer as "Marx; Philmar" and hope someone with details will add more details.
And if someone reads this later in the game, please respond! I'd rather have this information late than never!

Two more names I have found in Gifford that he associates with Marx: Amex (Classic in Pictures, 1949) and Bairns (Danger Trail, 1946).

I've heard of Amex...hmm...

It may be a longshot, but there was a BAIRNS COMIC from 1948, accredited to "P.M. (Marx)" by Gifford.
