Dredd 3D the movie

Robocop + Dirty Harry + Die Hard = Dredd . A visually stylish sci-fi thriller, well worth a watch !
Nice music score too.

On the downside, it's essentially "Dredd the bottle show." We hear a lot about Mega City One but we don't see much of it. Basically the insides of one tower block. And there don't seem to be very many judges either.
Also one of the most appealing things about Anderson in the comics is her irreverent personality, particularly the way she takes the piss out of Dredd. The nature of her role here means she's a lot more "by the book".

Watch out for some graffiti and block names which long time 2000ad readers may get a kick out of.

Visually impressive, but it lacked the humour integral to the strip, for me. I actually preferred the Stallone version.
