A Town Called Mercy
A solid but fairly predictable morality tale: Jex had to die for his crimes, and it had to be suicide because if the Gunslinger had killed him, he'd have lost the moral high ground. Entertaining enough, but filler. And Rory was utterly wasted.

Yeah, it was kind of like he didn't really know what to do with Rory.

Not quite as bad as the previous one but still a long way from Good. Started off reasonably intriguingly but my interest began to wane around the time the Doctor had his inexplicable out-of-character throw-him-out moment and it just got duller from then, with a typically NuHu crap ending.
This isn't the greatest start to a new season, it has to be said. Still, only two to go before we get a break from it. Mighty considerate of them, it must be said. Imagine 13 consecutive weeks of it ala series 4! The horror...

You sound like you're being strapped into a chair and forced to watch it, à la A Clockwork Orange. If this is the case, don't panic! We shall notify the appropriate authorities.
