Sadly, I'd watch either of those.

You're very kind, but I'd envisaged mine being one of those grim 'n' gritty US crime dramas that the Five channels (Five; 5 USA; 5*) seem to churn out by the score.Sam_Vimes wrote:Well. . .they DO sound kind of amazing. Lucy? Tony? Get jobs at the BBC RIGHT now and make this HAPPEN.

I'd actually watch that.

Re: The new GA TV show Arrow
So, there's going to be a Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event on the Arrowverse shows, and I plan to watch. I'll be annoyed if it collapses the multiverse, but I can't stop it.
I read that DC will be doing a couple of comics related to the event, and then I see this at the bottom of the article:
https://www.cbr.com/crisis-on-infinite-earths-arrowverse-walmart-comics/
Both issues will be available exclusively at Walmart before arriving at comic book retailers at a later date.
HOW is that a good idea?!?

Well, good idea or not, at least they won't be available just from Walmart without any later options to buy it at a comic book shop.Mbast1 wrote:So, there's going to be a Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event on the Arrowverse shows, and I plan to watch. Besides, does anyone know how popular the comic books based on/tied-in to the TV versions of characters were among comic book shops in the past? (Granted, those were digital-first comics over the past few years.)

Not very, judging by the comments of a couple of comic shop owners I know. Thing is, a lot of comics fans really aren't that keen on most of the live action interpretations of the characters.MajorHoy wrote:Well, good idea or not, at least they won't be available just from Walmart without any later options to buy it at a comic book shop.Mbast1 wrote:So, there's going to be a Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event on the Arrowverse shows, and I plan to watch. Re: The new GA TV show Arrow
So, I bought the episodes for the CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. And,
Had to get that out!
- My rant:
- It is genuinely pissing me off. Haven't watched it all, so it might not have gone this way because some stories conflict, but it looks like they did it again, squashed a multiverse down into a single universe. WHY?!?!?
Had to get that out!

We haven't been able to see any of it in the UK, yet...Mbast1 wrote:So, I bought the episodes for the CW's Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover. And,

I hope you can soon, what I've seen has been fun!
And, it looks as if what I had hoped happened DID, rather than what I'd feared.
