Is Judge Dredd gay?

I have never looked at Judge Dredd's costume and seen a fetishistic edge. Maybe I should have my eyes checked.

I have no issue with him being gay, I don't care, but I didn't see anything there, either.
Then again, I actually didn't realize George Michael was gay until he came out. I just don't care.

Well, yeah, but my point is that I sometimes think people are "reaching" when they make these remarks. Not everyone who wears leather is a gay-fetishist. Some are, of course, but not all, so I don't see that as conclusive in re: Dredd. But, then, it IS a uniform.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's like everyone's Fredric Wertham or something. Sometimes, as Freud said, a cigar is just a cigar. And in Dredd's case, as YOU said, a uniform is (probably) just a uniform.

If it's not, though, I'd be quite surprised. Judge Dredd doesn't exactly draw the sort of audience who'd be receptive to such a change, at least not in my experience.
