Re: Golden Age Crimson Avenger (Lee Travis)
I think the original costume suited him better than the red tights. But that said, Whatever Happened to the Crimson Avenger from DC Comics Presents #38 is still probably my all-time favourite DC Comics story...

A character who really deserves more exposure, but is unlikely ever to get it. First time I ever saw him was in DC Comics Presents #38, and Whatever Happened to the Crimson Avenger is still one of my all-time favourite stories.

"Travis's two-fisted alter ego." Um... was Travis normally one-handed, or something?

Re: Golden Age Crimson Avenger (Lee Travis)
Should we wish him a "Happy Belated 81st Anniversary" or go ahead and say "Happy 82nd Anniversary" now?
(According to the GCD, Detective Comics #20 went on sale back on September 7th, 1938.)

I'm wondering if the Crimson is going to show up on the Stargirl show at some point.

If I remember well DC Comics should have published some time ago an Hardcover/Omnibus with all the stories contained in Detective Comics # 01/26
