Here in much of the United States, we begin Daylight Saving Time tomorrow morning (or still tonight for a few), Sunday March 8th at 2:00 a.m., so we lose an hour when we "spring ahead" to 3:00 a.m.

We do it again at 2:00 a.m. this Sunday morning (March 8th): "Spring ahead" one hour for Daylight Saving Time here in much of the U.S. and Canada.
I think over in Europe any time change to "Summer Time" takes place on the morning of Sunday, March 29th this year (2020)?

You're correct MajorHoy, it takes place next 29 March at 2 AM until next 25 October . There was a proposal last years to extend it in the European Union all year long but, luckily, it disappeared with the old EU government...

And we have to lose an hour again this weekend, jumping from 2:00 a.m. Standard Time to 3:00 a.m. Daylight Saving Time on Sunday morning.
The time change was really miserable back in the days when I had a part-time job where I had to be at work at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. I'd normally get up around 4:30 a.m. for that one.

Yes, I see your point Here it will happen, again, next 27 March, as usual the last Sunday of this month, at 3 a.m.

For us in the U.S., Daylight Saving Time begins on the second Sunday of March and ends on the first Sunday of November.Barry_Allen wrote:Yes, I see your point Here it will happen, again, next 27 March, as usual the last Sunday of this month, at 3 a.m.
