Happy Birthday, 2000 AD!
This week marks the 40th anniversary of the Galaxy's Greatest Comic. Who would have expected to ever see that back in 1977?

That's really very cool. There are times when I wish I had a really good run on that, or maybe a series of runs of the best stuff. Ah, well. Happy Birthday anyway!

There's a lot of stuff there that's well worth checking out.

Anything you'd particularly recommend? I might start looking on Ebay if I know what's good.

How much have you read in the past? There are now some really nice collected editions of a lot of classic stories, most of which are worth picking upif you can find a reasonably priced copy. Not necessarily the better known stuff, either; I'd personally reccomend Meltdown Man, Alan Moore's Skizz, Nikolai Dante and/or Sinister Dexter, for a start.Mbast1 wrote:tony ingram wrote:There's a lot of stuff there that's well worth checking out.

I've only ever read Skizz, I'll definitely have to look for the rest. Thanks!

Ok, on your recommendation, I picked up these:
Sinister Dexter Vol 1 Gunshark Vacation
From Russia with Lust: The Nikolai Dante Omnibus
I look forward to getting them (ordered from ebay) and reading them. Thanks!
