And rather better than her first effort, much as I liked Survival. Having some sort of budget actually does make a difference....

This series they've had to work with a limited budget, but it's made them get creative. I rather like it.

I enjoyed it. Sometimes I feel as if this sounds like a bad thing, but I don't mean it that way - It was just good. I mean, it wasn't the best story ever, and it wasn't a spectacular event. And that is ok, I don't always need that stuff. Just a well told story, done interestingly.

I really am not looking forward to Capaldi leaving...

I agree. Sometimes, all you want is just a nice, self contained story. This was that. It doesn't always have to be the fate of the entire multiverse at stake.
