Looking for Laurel and Hardy comics/cover scans

Hi all,

is there anybody who could provide me with British and/or Indian editions of L&H comic books? In case you are a collector of these but don't want to sell you maybe could help me out by providing cover scans? I will need these for an upcoming book, and of course I would mention you in the acknowledgements!

Just to celebrate a total of 400 views of this topic, if you're still around here, StanLaurel, I am curious to know if you have then published your book which seemed very interesting to me: I couldn't help because I don't own any British and/or Indian editions of L&H comic books; in fact, I don't own any Italian editions of these comic books, but I know they have been published here in late Sixties and until early Eighties by small publishers and in small formats too! and I have found many images of these covers in the web.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to publish my book yet, it is still in the making (= researching) process. And due to the Covid pandemic there were more important things to deal with, as well...

Meanwhile, here's one of the latest covers (from issue 186) of long lasting Stanlio & Ollio Italian series, which ended in 1984 with issue 200 or 201, as far as I know...

the finished product will definitely be a PRINTED book, not just an E-book!

And the final issue of this particular Italien series (there were quite a lot different series in Italy, as you may know) was indeed no. 201. Some time ago someone sold it on eBay, and I took a picture of it.

Yes, I remember that there were quite a lot different series (and publishers, too ) of Stanlio & Ollio; as for this one, I have the last printed edition of the Guide to Italian Comic Books and it listed both # 200 and # 201 (in different lines of the same section) as last issue, hence my doubt but, since all issues from # 183 were "covered" comic books, which recycled both interiors and covers from previous ones, I noticed that this last issue # 201 has the same cover than # 158 as you can see from the image reproduced below...:    
Btw, in the photo you posted the bag has a label with the "original" price that issue had as a used item, you can read "Lit. 2500" which would be (without inflation) about € 1.30 now....!

Only about four years late, but I've recently acquired a small collection from someone in Ipswich, and while I've yet to sort it all, I definitely spotted some British Laurel and Hardy in there. Now that I've a reason to get proactive, I'll take a look later this week and see what there is.

Have you checked which issues (Uk editions?) of Laurel & Hardy do you have in stock, Tony?

I did, and then completely forgot about it, sorry! I did dig out the box, I'll get the numbers when I get home.
