I recently read an article about this comic created by then Image Comics Executive Director Larry Marder (who basically saved the company from the excesses of the founders, those years...) in an old Comics Interview magazine, did you guys buy this Omnibus from Dark Horse and, if yes, what do you think about this....different comic?

Did I buy the omnibus? No.Barry_Allen wrote:I recently read an article about this comic created by then Image Comics Executive Director Larry Marder (who basically saved the company from the excesses of the founders, those years...) in an old Comics Interview magazine, did you guys buy this Omnibus from Dark Horse and, if yes, what do you think about this....different comic?
I bought it in mostly single issues back in the day in the late 1980s/early-to-mid 1990s (and also a tpb of some the issues that came out before I started buying it). It was quirky but fun, and I even got a non-comic book reader friend of mine interested in it. (I also got her reading Sam & Max, Freelance Police by Steve Purcell.)

Ah, yes. I actually rather liked a lot of Eclipse's output. A shame it ended up in such a mess.

That's lovely art. I'm still hoping Gaiman and Buckingham will one day finish Miracleman.
