We shall see, I suppose. It's been a LONG time. And it's a mess. All that said, I WANT to read this.

So do I. Though the article is, of course, inaccurate: Marvelman was not Britain's first superhero. That was The Amazing Mr. X, who debuted in 1944.Mbast1 wrote:https://www.cbr.com/miracleman-neil-gaiman-mark-buckingham-new-stories/#leave-comment

The chap looks sort of like Clark Kent when he isn't in costume.tony ingram wrote: . . . Marvelman was not Britain's first superhero. That was The Amazing Mr. X, who debuted in 1944.

Color me not surprised. CBR is very sloppy in their facts. and doesn't seem to care.

Re: Let's see if this happens...
They used to be better than they are now, a few years back. Some attempt seemed to be made to verify facts and there appeared to be genuine enthusiasm for the subject matter in their articles. Now, they're like a formerly serious newspaper that's become tabloid trash. Sad.Mbast1 wrote:Color me not surprised. CBR is very sloppy in their facts. and doesn't seem to care.

Cbr.cc website
I know that Cbr founder Jonah Weiland sold the website in 2016 then took three sabbatical years and last year was hired by Dc Comics in the role of Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services, reporting directly to Hank Kanalz, Senior VP of Publishing Strategy and Support Services and formerly writer of Rob Liefeld's Youngblood first series dialogues... so maybe that could explain something...
