Calendar Man (Julian Day)
First appearance: Detective Comics #259 (September 1958)
Now, rather than my posting several more pages from this issue to give you more of the flavor of this story, DC was kind enough to give us a condensed version in Batman Family #16 (February-March 1978)
As to the part about Calendar Man's "Only Appearance", that was true when Batman Family #16 was published (nearly twenty years after Detective Comics #259).
But then came Batman #312 (June 1979) with a return of Calendar Man with all-new crimes and all-new outfits!
including one that Calendar Man would wear in many of his future appearances.
and would also be shown in his entry in Who's Who: The Definitive Directory of the DC Universe Vol. IV (June 1985)

Great art team (with Mrs. Wein at the colors too, her maiden name was Oliver, if I remember well) in Batman # 312!
