Jerry Robinson 1922-2011, RIP
Jerry Robinson, who worked with Bob Kane and Bill Finger in the early days of the Batman series and is often credited as the creator of the Joker and the co-creator of Robin, the Boy Wonder, has died aged 89. In more recent years he became a noted comics historian and an advocate of creators rights, fighting to get Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster due credit and recompense for the creation of Superman.
