Lady Blackhawk (Zinda Blake)
The comic book Blackhawk first appeared from Quality Comics and began with issue #9 (cover-dated Winter 1944); it took over the numbering from Uncle Sam Quarterly.
The title continued at Quality until issue #107 (cover-dated December 1956), after which it was published by DC comics starting with issue #108 (cover-dated January 1957).
But it was in issue #133 (cover-dated February 1959 and with an on-sale date of December 9th, 1958 according to the GCD) that readers were introduced to Zinda Blake: Lady Blackhawk.
But Zinda would prove to be stubborn and appear in several adventures of the Blackhawks during 1959 and into the 1960s.
from Who's Who Update '87 Vol. 3 (October 1987)

Re: Lady Blackhawk (Zinda Blake)
After Crisis on Infinite Earths and Howard Chaykin's revamp of Blackhawk, a different character was referred to as "Lady Blackhawk".
from Blackhawk Annual #1 (May 1989)
But with Zero Hour: Crisis in Time, DC brought back Zinda Blake in Guy Gardner: Warrior #24 (September 1994)
and she wound up staying around for a while.

Zinda's Who's Who entry is one of my favourite pieces of art in that series.
