(retconned) Golden Age-era Firebrand (Danette Reilly)
First appearance (of Danette): in the All-Star Squadron Preview included in Justice League of America #193 (August 1981)
Danette was seen with her brother, Ensign Rod Reilly, who back in 1941 had been introduced as a Quality Comics character called . . . Firebrand, though Danette was unaware of Rod's dual-identity at the time of the All-Star Squadron Preview story.

By the way, Roy Thomas had reportedly not planned to create a new Firebrand when he originally came up with the All-Star Squadron. He originally had been thinking of using another Quality Comics character named Wildfire, who first appeared in Smash Comics #25 (August 1941).
But that idea was supposedly turned down because DC already the character ERG-1, more familiarly known as
from Superboy #202 (May-June 1974)

I still prefer Rod to his sister. Wish they'd use him more. I've liked him ever since I first encountered him in Freedom Fighters back in the seventies.
