Justice Society of America and Stargirl The Lost Children ship dates
Well, I don't what the reasons for the delays have been, but the latest Justice Society of America series is continuing to have delays in the shipping dates.
And now Stargirl: The Lost Children has a one week delay for issue #4.
Here are the dates (and originally solicited) ship dates so far:
November 2022
* THE NEW GOLDEN AGE #1 (one-shot) = 11/8/2022
* Stargirl The Lost Children #1 (of 6) = 11/15/2022
* Justice Society of America #1 = 11/29/2022 (originally solicited for 11/22/2022)
December 2022
* Stargirl The Lost Children #2 (of 6) = 12/20/2022
January 2023
* Stargirl The Lost Children #3 (of 6) = 1/17/2023
* Justice Society of America #2 (of 12) = 01/24/2023 (orig. 12/27/2022)
February 2023
* Stargirl The Lost Children #4 (of 6) = current ship date 2/28/2023 (orig. 2/21/2023)
March 2023
* Justice Society of America #3 (of 12) = current ship date 03/07/2023 (orig. 01/24/2023)
* Stargirl The Lost Children #5 (of 6) = current ship date 3/21/2023 (orig. 3/21/2023)
* Justice Society of America #4 (of 12) = current ship date 03/28/2023 (orig. 02/28/2023)
April 2023
* Stargirl The Lost Children #6 (of 6) = current ship date 4/18/2023 (orig. 4/18/2023)
* Justice Society of America #5 (of 12) = current ship date 04/25/2023 (orig. 03/28/2023) <NOTE: officially resolicited for April>
The changes in the shipping dates for Stargirl The Lost Children #4 and Justice Society of America #3 just happened within the past week. Not sure if Stargirl The Lost Children #5 and #6 or if Justice Society of America #4 and #5 may also get bumped out another week or two later on.
And there's still the question as to whether Justice Society of America is a twelve-issue series or an ongoing title. Johns has said it's not a 12-issue series; there's nothing on the covers that has indicated it's a 12-issue series; but the solicitations for issues #2-5 have said "x of 12".
Stay tuned . . .

No word on how that will change the ship date for issue #4, but I'd be surprised if that still came out on March 28th just two weeks after issue #3.

Re: Justice Society of America and Stargirl The Lost Children ship dates
An update on ship dates for Justice Society of America #4 and Stargirl: The Lost Children #6:
both of them are, at last check, scheduled to ship on May 2nd, so nothing will be released from those series in April.
Dates for later issues of Justice Society of America have not changed yet,
May 2023
* Justice Society of America #5 (of 12) = ship date 05/23/2023 (orig. 03/28/2023) <NOTE: later resolicited for April 2023>
June 2023
* Justice Society of America #6 = ship date 06/20/23 (orig. 05/23/2023)
but I'm assuming they, too, will be furthered delayed.
And issue #7 was solicited a few weeks ago for June 27th, but that seems so unlikely at this point that it's almost pathetic.

And release dates for those two titles look like they're being extended further yet. Some sites have Stargirl: The Lost Children #6 for May 9th now, and one site currently has moved Justice Society of America #4 to May 16th.MajorHoy wrote:An update on ship dates for Justice Society of America #4 and Stargirl: The Lost Children #6:

Why should DC bother changing those until they actually release Justice Society of America #4?MajorHoy wrote:Dates for later issues of Justice Society of America have not changed yet,

Well, yes and no.tony ingram wrote:Well, Stargirl has now wrapped up, and I really liked it! Anyone else?
Didn't like Geoff Johns creating all these brand-new "Golden Age" sidekicks (weren't there already enough of them back in the actual Golden Age?), and couldn't understand the ending where he dumped ALL of them in the "present day", even though quite a few of them that actually had existed could have easily been returned to the time period(s) they were originally taken from.
And the story itself didn't need six issues to be told; five issues would have probably been better.
Supposedly, the events from the end will be carried into the Justice Society of America series, that monthly book that gets published every two months and still hasn't really told all that much about what is going on with, you know, the Justice Society of America that we use to know and enjoy.
