Clive Dunn (1920-2012) RIP

Veteran comedy actor Clive Dunn, best known for the role of Lance Corporal Jones in the classic sitcom Dad's Army, has died aged 92. Clive began his acting career in the 1930s but actually spent much of his life playing elderly men; he was one of the youngest cast members of Dad's Army when he played the septugenarian Corporal Jones, and he later found fame again as the equally aged Charlie Quick in the slapstick children's series Grandad. A sad loss, but a good life.
