Striker returns-in...uh...Nuts...
Pete Nash has confirmed via the Strikerworld website that his long running football strip Striker, which he wound up in the pages of The Sun late last year as reported in Crikey! #11, will be returning from Jan 26th in the pages of mens lifestyle magazine Nuts. Pete described the 'cheeky, entertaining style of Nuts' as 'exactly on a par with Striker'. Pete, I think you're putting yourself down there mate, but good luck all the same...

I knew it would be one of those XD. Some people on Comics UK thought not, but where else could it possibly jump to from The Sun?

A little disappointing, though. I mean, it could have moved to the pages of Razzle, which is at least honest about being porn, but no-it had to go really downmarket...felneymike wrote:I knew it would be one of those XD. ...and nine months later, it's being cancelled again, for good this time (or so says Nash). Nuts failed to find the investment necessary to pay for it to continue. They couldn't meet the production costs. A shame.
