DC's Demon Knights
A series in the New 52's The Dark line, written for the first 16 issues (#1 - 15 plus the #0 issue that came between #12 and #13) by Paul Cornell. (Robert Venditti took over with issue #16, and the book was cancelled after issue #23.)
In addition to Etrigan the Demon, the book also featured Madame Xanadu, The Shining Knight (Sir Ystin, not the Golden Age Sir Justin), Vandal Savage, and some new characters, and was set during Medieval times.
Did anybody else try it and like it? Thoughts? Comments?

It's a shame it was a New 52 title. Normally, I'd buy a Paul Cornell book just to see what it was like, but, y'know...

Demon Knights may have been good for you, Tony, since it wasn't dealing with the "present day" universe.tony ingram wrote:It's a shame it was a New 52 title. Normally, I'd buy a Paul Cornell book just to see what it was like, but, y'know...

Sorry, but the DCnU is temporally retroactive, and so is my dislike of it.MajorHoy wrote:Demon Knights may have been good for you, Tony, since it wasn't dealing with the "present day" universe.tony ingram wrote:It's a shame it was a New 52 title. By the way, Robert Venditti, who wrote Demon Knights #16 - 23
is writing the 2018 relaunch of Hawkman.

And appears to be doing rather a good job of it, judging by the reviews!
