Steve Dillon 1962-2016, RIP

Steve Dillon, co-creator of Preacher and Abslom Daak, Dalek Killer, has died aged 53. He began working in comics with Marvel UK's Hulk Comic aged just 16, back in 1979.

I saw that on Warren Ellis's newsletter. Far too young. I wish his family the best.

I was about ten when I began to notice Dillon's work. He was six years older than me, and drawing the comics I was buying. An incredible talent.

Yes. He was very lucky to have such an artistic gift, and to be able to use it to bring pleasure to millions.
