Just a quick message to anyone out there who might be interested: All issues of Crikey! Crikey! 1-9 are £3.99 (post free), Crikey! 10-12 are £4.99 (also post free). SS 1 is £3.99 (post free). SS2 is available via on-line PDF's. Again go to the Crikey! website for full details.
No excuses now!!!

Can you pay by Paypal? I only just joined up on E.Bay to it! I have posted to Tony £16 cheque for issues 4, 5 & 7 but if Paypal is Ok for other back issues, could try that!

Do you know if many of the issues of Crikey are available on PDF? I would love to get some, but I can't get Yudu to give me any real information. I don't mind paying, I just want something tangible.

He emailed me off the boards, I'll have to get back to him on that. I'd like them, I just have to figure out what I can afford. I live in the US so shipping won't be cheap. But, I think it'll be worth it.

Thanks!

The shipping cost, or the quality? I'm sure they're high quality, that's why I want them!

Well, the shipping cost can vary tremendously depending on the method used-though I doubt you'd want to wait the several weeks that surface mail can take to the US from here...

I don't think the wait would bother me. I have enough reading material to tide me over, and they'll still be good when they get here. I may get at least some next paycheck.

Are back issues of Crikey still available? And if so, can they be shipped to The Netherlands?

Yep - all hard copy back issues are available except # 2,#4, #6 & #11.

All hard copy issues are B&W, 52 pages unless stated.

Issues 1,3,4,5,6,7,8 (52 pages, full colour),9 will cost £3.99 each
Issues 10,12 (84 pages, full colour),13,14,15,16 will cost £4.99 each

Issues 2,4,6 & 11 (84 pages, full colour) on disk for £2.99 per issue

The Crikey! Special #1 (130 pages in full colour, disk only) is £2.99
The Crikey! Collected #1 (disk only) is £2.99

Super-Spies & Secret Agents issue 1 is £3.99
Super-Spies & Secret Agents issue 2 (on disk only but 40 pages, full colour) is £1.99.

I'd need to find out how much postage is, but Airmail will be expensive and surface takes longer.

Failing that you could have everything on disk, but I'd need to work that price out.

Let me know your intentions!

I intend to get all hard copies that I can, supplemented with digital for those out of print.

Surface mail wouldn't be prohibitive, although I might opt for airmail if the difference is slight.

Thanks, guys!

Also I will also take The Crikey! Special #1 (130 pages in full colour, disk only) is £2.99. What is the content of The Crikey! Collected #1 (disk only) ?
There will be additional shipping costs for I leave in France.

Bit late in the day, but a huge fan of underated UK comics scene and have just found out about this late magazine. By any chance are there any back issues still avaible (rather get them from the source, than try to search them out on ebay). Many thanks for time and help (hard copy or digital)

Hi again Tony, have you received then any updated info (the list by GBF quoted below is from a very old answer to user ramonshenk, a name I seem to remember from magazine Alter Ego or maybe Charlton Spotlight too?!? Smile ) by GBF about hard copy and disk only Crikey! back issues still available, with shipping cost (to mainland Europe too Wink ) ? Cool

Has somebody heard from old GBF about Crikey back issues? I was interested too in (at least) three issues I did not buy at time from Ace Comics (maybe Special Issues weren't even offered at all for sale by them at time) and so still I don't own... Cool

Which issues are you after? I've no back issues left myself, but I know GBF still has copies of several issues.

Hi Tony, nice to be here again after some time,
I'd say the issues were:

- Super-Spies & Secret Agents issue 2 (on disk, nr. 1 was published on paper and I ordered it, as far as I can remember...) ;
- The Crikey! Special #1 (130 pages in full colour, disk only) @ £ 2.99;
- The Crikey! Collected #1 (disk only) is £2.99.

So as I see from the list above, issues 2, 4, 6 and 11 on disk have 32 pages more than the paper issues, am I right on this?  Wink
