Christmas thought Empty Christmas thought

Post by Mbast1 Mon Dec 09, 2013 4:39 pm

Hello,
I was thinking about Christmas. I am NOT someone who actually likes the season, but many do, and I do like the idea of giving people things.
And so I had a thought.
I know it's too soon for this year, but maybe for next year we could pick a comic related charity (as the one which helps the creators?) and give them money as a group. From the board, maybe. I think we can either send money separately, or send it to one person we trust (NOT ME) who can then pass it on from all of us.
I know this isn't the most well-thought out idea, but does anyone else think this might be a good idea?

It's certainly worth considering. Did you have any specific charities in mind?

The Hero Initiative sounds best, but I'd be open to anything people thought good.

I ended up sending them a fiver. Not much, but it seemed the thing to do.
