Spider-Man: Big Time (originally from 2011?)
Finally gave in and decided to pick up a (sort of) semi-recent Spider-Man collection:
Big Time trade paperback, collecting Amazing Spider-Man #648 - 651.
They had it at Walmart in a cheapo version. The price on the back says it's $5.00, but it rang up at $3.50 at the register.
(Hell, that's less than a single issue of a Spider-Man comic book these days!)

I dunno why, but the art on the cover looks... odd.

Yeah, there are many artists who seem to be more into "stylish" than "semi-realistic" for comic book art. Sometimes it's interesting, but other times it can get in the way of the storytelling.Lucy McGough wrote:I dunno why, but the art on the cover looks... odd.

I like Ramos's art, but I seem to be in a minority. To me, it seems to suit Spidey as a character. Very gangling and gawky.

But Spidey's head looks like a kidney bean or a paracetamol tablet.

I've never eaten a kidney bean covered in webbing!

I'm not saying you have to.
Unlike the tuna, sweet corn and mayonnaise sandwich. That's non-negotiable.

Oh, and the jawline of the lady on the left looks peculiar.
