Golden Age Blue Beetle (Dan Garret)
NOTE: I'm not posting this one in the DC Comics section because the original version of Dan Garret was quite different from the one that later appeared in Charlton Comics / DC Comics.
First appearance: Mystery Men Comics #1 (August 1939)
In his next appearance (Mystery Men Comics #2) Garret wears an outfit more like the costume he would wear for much of his Golden Age-era run.
