Happy 80th Anniversary to the Golden Age Red Tornado (Ma Hunkel)
Ma Hunkel first appeared as a character in the Scribbly feature of All-American Comics #3 (cover-dated June 1939):
But it was in All-American Comics #20 (November 1940 issue) that her identity of the Red Tornado was born!
(NOTE: Green Lantern had first appeared in issue #16, four months previously)
The Red Tornado was even present (briefly) for the first meeting of the Justice Society of America in All-Star Comics #3.

Re: Happy 80th Anniversary to the Golden Age Red Tornado (Ma Hunkel)
It appears that the final Golden Age appearance of the Red Tornado was in All-American Comics #59 (July 1944), which according to the GDC went on sale May 6th, 1944.
Later that same month, Ma showed up in a Scribbly story published in Comic Cavalcade #7 (Summer 1944), but did not appear as the Red Tornado in that story.
-------------------------
Nearly a quarter of a century later, in Justice League of America #64 (August 1968 issue), readers were treated to "The Stormy Return of the Red Tornado!"
And even though that character may not have been the original Golden Age Red Tornado, a drawing of the entire Justice Society of America membership featured in Justice League of America #76 (November-December 1969) did include both Red Tornados.
