It's been announced today that legendary British actor Bernard Cribbins has died at the age of 93. He'd been a familiar face in movies and on TV for decades, appearing in everything from The Railway Children to the Carry On movies to Doctor Who, and was also the voice of The Wombles in the classic seventies children's show. Most recently, he'd been filming scenes for Doctor Who's 60th anniversary episodes, to be aired in 2023.
